I'm a Ph.D. physical oceanographer and data engineer with over a decade of experience building production systems at the intersection of science and software. Currently supporting NOAA's Office of Coast Survey, I develop S-100 compliant operational products — S-104 water levels and S-111 surface currents — from STOFS ocean model outputs, including full pipeline automation, interpolation workflows, and IHO standards compliance. My background spans federal and DoD collaborations with ONR, NRL, NAVSEA, and NAVAIR, field oceanography, and end-to-end data infrastructure from raw model output to operational product. If your organization needs someone who can own the full stack — from the science to the pipeline to the deployed product. I also design and build full-stack web applications and data-driven products for clients who need something custom built and deployed fast. Let's talk.

Westminster Academy Coral Monitoring Program

In Development

Westminster Christian Academy — St. Louis, MO · Blue Signal LLC × Plant a Million Corals

Designing and building an end-to-end 3D scan processing pipeline for a high school STEM coral restoration program. Students grow three threatened Florida reef species in a lab environment and scan coral fragments monthly using an Artec Spider II 3D scanner (0.05mm resolution). Scans are processed through a Python pipeline that performs mesh reconstruction, computes 13 morphometric measurements (volume, surface area, rugosity, convexity, and more), and quantifies growth between timepoints using ICP alignment and per-vertex distance mapping — producing colorized growth heatmap meshes and timelapse animations for student analysis. Cloud architecture uses AWS S3 for scan storage with Lambda-triggered automated processing. Built as an open, modular package so other coral restoration programs can adopt it.
